What you’re buying
A one-time, non-exclusive license to download and use Woodshed (“the Software”), sold by AI Woodshed (“we”). You get the current version, plus any free updates we release for it. We’ll email you when new versions come out. We may offer separate paid products or add-ons in the future; you never have to buy them to keep using what you have.
Your license
- One license is for one buyer (one person, or one business’s own channel or team).
- You may install and use the Software on computers you own or control, for your own videos and your business.
- You may customize the Software (its rules, styles, settings and interface) for your own use.
What you may not do
- Resell, share, publish, give away or redistribute the Software, its download link or any part of it, including the playbook, the Brain rules, the design templates and the code.
- Use the Software, or anything copied or adapted from it, to build or sell a competing product, template pack or course.
- Offer the Software as a service, editing service platform or hosted tool to others.
- Remove license or copyright notices.
Editing your own clients’ videos with the Software is fine. Giving them a copy of the Software is not.
If these terms are broken
Your license ends automatically, you must delete every copy, and we may take action to protect our work, including takedown requests to sites hosting unauthorized copies.
What you need
The Software runs on your own computer and uses your own Claude account (billed by Anthropic), plus free open-source tools that the setup installs (including FFmpeg, Parakeet, HyperFrames and Python packages). Each of those tools is governed by its own license. You are responsible for your Claude plan and for following YouTube’s terms. Windows support is in beta.
Your content
Your footage, projects and settings stay on your computer. We don’t receive them. Content the Software sends to Claude goes through your own Claude account under Anthropic’s terms.
No guarantees of results
The Software and its YouTube best practices are provided to help you edit and package videos. We can’t promise views, subscribers or income. The Software is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid.
Refunds
Woodshed comes with a 14-day “Do the Work” guarantee: set it up, edit at least 2 of your own videos with your notes, and if it doesn’t save you time, contact us within 14 days of purchase with those projects for a full refund. See our Refund Policy.
